Shhh! Secret City Tour

Under the cover of the pre dawn light, we snuck out of the neighborhood to meet the rest of the crew. The rendezvous spot was under the neon lights of Bob's Speed Shop at a quarter to.

Our destination the 2023 Southeastern Divisional Tour known as the Secret City Tour in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. 

Darrin, Barrett and I have been anticipated this trip for a while.  

Bonus is so many people from our new Back Roads Touring Region are participating. 

Paul and Tracy are taking their newly painted 1964 Comet Caliente.  They are pulling the enclosed trailer behind the 1988 Suburban.

David and Joyce are pulling the 1964 Ford Galaxies on an open trailer.

We are pulling the 1955 Chevy Bel Air on an open trailer as well.

Debbie and Craig, Vicki and Art are already in Oakridge and Ernie is not far behind.  

Barrett was assigned homework for the four days he will miss of school.  He has been working hard for 2 days to get it done.  

Transporting the thirsty little buggers can get a little pricy!  But every penny worth it.

We unloaded vehicles and got settled in.

The tour starts tonight with a drivers meeting that includes a history of the area.
