The Alamo and River Walk

The River Walk provided a nice place for breakfast. We took a short walk to the Alamo. It is only .3 miles from the hotel. It was a small church that had not been finished when the last stand happened.
In the 1860s a wood roof and a wood second floor were installed.  Time took its toll and a concrete roof was installed in 1930.  That roof is now believed to be to heavy.
The streets are quaint. The buildings are historic.

While getting the car ready for tech inspections the window on the passenger side stopped working. A quick fix of pulling the door apart and checking everything. Nothing seemed to be amiss.  Who knows? But it is working now.
Darrin and Sam went to do some Great Race stuff so Paul and I took a walk down River Walk.  We stopped at Bubba Gump for calamari.  I spent some time showing Paul what was on the DSR website. As we were leaving I knocked my glass of water over and that knocked Paul's tea over.  We giggled and left quickly.
